Shipping Policy

Free Shipping!

Shipping and handling charges for all clocks purchased online are free in the Continental U.S.! Most in-stock clocks are usually shipped within two to four business days and, with the exception of most grandfather clocks, will be shipped by FED EX ground, UPS standard ground or DHL ground. Orders of $250 or more will be shipped with signature service. Bulk orders may ship by another freight carrier. Order cancellations after shipment are not accepted and incorrect shipping addresses may result in additional re-shipping charges.

Grandfather clocks usually ship within a week and, with the exception of a few quartz floor clocks, are shipped by a residential home delivery company. Some quartz floor clocks are UPS shippable. The designated residential delivery company for the grandfather clocks will contact you 1-2 days prior to delivery to make arrangements and will place the grandfather clock inside the home or office. Additionally, many grandfather clocks are eligible for free in-home set-up.

Gift of Time reserves the right to make deliveries or ship orders, which will be free of charge or may elect to have orders shipped directly from the manufacturers in the U.S. or their agents, distributors or facilities in the U.S. for free. Payment must be received in advance of shipment.

Where we ship:

Our free shipping policy applies to Continental U.S. orders only. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico residents should contact us before an order is placed and then we will email you with any additional shipping and handling charges that may apply. We are no longer shipping outside of the U.S., except to Canada, or to military APO boxes. Canadian orders should contact us prior to placing an order to obtain a shipping quote.

Generally, the warranties on the clocks cover any defect in workmanship or materials but does not cover damage caused by the freight carrier or other misuse and inappropriate actions and conditions. Manufacturers or their distributors may elect to repair or replace defective items under the warranty. Please contact us for a copy of a particular manufacturer's full warranty, which may have additional terms, conditions and limitations. In the event of damage during shipment of an order with us, customer must contact us by email within three business days and tell us you have a damage shipment so that a replacement item can be sent and for further instructions.

Back Orders:

Gift of Time will notify you by email within three business days if a clock you have ordered is out of stock and the expected availability date. You will then be given the opportunity to cancel your order. If we do not get a response, the order may be canceled. If we are instructed to continue to process an order, we will notify you when the clock ships. We reserve the right to cancel orders without notice, including back orders or specific quantities. Items that are sold out may no longer be available from the manufacturers and not all items are offered with rain checks.


In striving to offer the best in customer service, Gift of Time will gladly accept returns on all clocks, including grandfather clocks. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied in your purchase simply return the item to us within 30 days from the invoice date for a full refund. You must contact Gift of Time by email prior to shipping the clock back to obtain an authorization number. Shipments back to us will be refused if a prior authorization number was not obtained. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. The clock must be in "new condition" and free of any scratches or dents for a full refund and include all original papers. Gift of Time reserves the right to refuse any and all amount of the total sales price if the above conditions have not been met.
